Aurora
 |
A
superliner with style,
Aurora boasts a cosmopolitan air that is combined with the
very best of classic British design. Her tiered stern exudes
a certain elegance and tasteful interiors invite you to relax
and watch the world go by.
There’s the chic ambience of Café Bordeaux; the
Moorish splendour of her main restaurants; the Lalique-inspired
waterfall in her impressive atrium; the style of Raffles chocolate
and coffee bar. And much more besides including a trio of
pools that tempt you to a refreshing dip. One is even housed
beneath a glass canopy, so that you can swim and lounge poolside
no matter what the weather. |
Diamond Bridge has exclusive use of Vanderbilt’s,
Aurora’s superb card room, between 4.30pm and 7.30pm each
day for daily duplicate bridge sessions (we shall start a little
later on port days to ensure that you can see the sights), giving
you time afterwards to relax with a cocktail before joining your
new-found friends for dinner in the Medina or Alexandria Restaurant
at 8.30pm – unless of course you have chosen to opt for
an evening of Select Dining in the Pennant Grill or Café
Bordeaux for a change of ambience and cuisine.
Evenings come to life to the tune of cabaret in Carmen’s
showlounge, shows in the Curzon, films in the Playhouse cinema
and syndicate quizzes in Vanderbilt’s. Later your choices
continue into the small hours: you might opt for the Monte Carlo
casino, the Crow’s Nest or Anderson’s to dance the
night away. But whatever you do, you will find Aurora’s
charms are many and varied.
