Gordon lives in Somerest and has two children and four grandchildren

Gordon was head of German at Millfield where he was also in charge of athletics for a number of years. He has qualified as a County Director since retiring from teaching. He is also a qualified timekeeper and enjoys officiating at athletics meetings in the South-West.
