In 1989 Mike Swanson joined forces with Carole Yates to form Diamond Bridge, a holiday company with aim of offering a mixture of both cruise and hotel-based duplicate bridge holidays designed for the ordinary club player.

From a humble start of just two holidays in 1990, Diamond Bridge has gradually expanded to the extent that 2007 will see our 175th foreign bridge holiday.

Mike is probably England's best known senior Tournament Director, who may also be known to you from his regular features in Bridge Plus magazine.

Carole has been a travel professional for most of her working life and has been organising and escorting bridge groups for 20 years.
