In 1989 Mike Swanson joined forces with Carole Yates to form Diamond Bridge, a holiday company with aim of offering a mixture of both cruise and hotel-based duplicate bridge holidays designed for the ordinary club player.

From a humble start of just two holidays in 1990, Diamond Bridge has gradually expanded to the extent that we have passed our 250th foreign bridge holiday.

Mike is one of England's best-known Tournament Directors, who may also be known to you from his regular "John & Julie" features in English Bridge magazine.

Carole has been a travel professional for most of her working life and has been organising and escorting bridge groups for over 35 years.
